Event Information
PARKES SHOWGROUND CAMPING DURING 2027 PARKES ELVIS FESTIVAL
PLEASE NOTE - Parkes Showground is located on the western side of Parkes, on a higher north - lower south side of the hill. As a result quite of few of the camping sites have a noticeable slope - please check individual site information regarding site slope and electrical lead length required.
Once booked and paid for, sites can NOT be changed.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse bookings if the committee deems it appropriate.
Fees: Powered $50 per site per night, Unpowered $40 per site per night (plus booking fee and credit card fees apply).
A minimum booking of four nights (Thurs 7/1, Fri 8/1, Sat 9/1, Sun 10/1/2026 inclusive) is required, whether fully used or not. Extra nights are an additional $50 (powered) or $40 (unpowered) per site per night.
Please plan to arrive between 8:30am and 5pm only. On Wednesday 6 January the camping entry gate will close between 4:00pm and 11.00pm for safety reasons during the Harness Racing Meeting.
CARAVAN SITES - One caravan per site - no tents are allowed on caravan sites (all tents must be in tent area)
TENT SITES - are for tents only (not fold out campers). No vehicles are allowed in the tent area at any time for safety reasons. Dedicated parking for tent sites only is located between tents and New Amenities block.
WATER TAPS - Water taps are available throughout the grounds and are shared with other campers - there is no capacity for any one person to be connected to a tap all the time.
GENERATORS ONLY PERMITTED ON UNPOWERED SITES 12-38 and can only be used after 8am and must be turned off after 10pm. Generators are not permitted on the other unpowered sites due to proximity to other campsites
SITE SIZES AND MAXIMUM CARAVAN MEASUREMENTS
- Large - Maximum 32ft (maximum length incl drawbar)
- Medium - Maximum 26ft (maximum length incl drawbar)
- Small - Maximum 20ft (maximum length incl drawbar)
Showground facilities include over 300 powered sites, plus a small number of unpowered sites and tent sites with no power or water. Amenities and dump point are located within the showground and night security patrols are conducted during the week of the festival.
This temporary campground is proudly managed by the Parkes PA&H Association Inc in conjunction with the Parkes Showground Land Manager.
NO REFUND POLICY
Refunds will NOT be available after tickets have been purchased. Cancellations are non refundable.
ELVIS AT THE TROTS - Free Entry
Elvis at the Trots is a licensed event & bar facilities are provided. No alcohol or glass is to be taken into this area during the event.

Refund policy
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless the event is cancelled by the organisers, where required by law.
